PROVIDENCE -- The arts organization AS220

The first program, on Wednesday, deals with
housing affordability. The director of the Housing
Network of Rhode Island and an official of Greater Elmwood
Neighborhood Services will lead the discussion.
The program "Housing and the Housing
Market" will focus on the approaches local governments have
used to spur housing that is considered affordable and will
"look at the realities of the housing market and how they
affect affordability," AS220 said.
The discussion leaders are Brenda Clement
of the housing network, which is an association of nonprofit
community development organizations, and Michael Lozano, a
senior project manager for real-estate development at the
nonprofit Greater Elmwood Neighborhood Services.
The program is at 5:30 p.m. AS220 is
at 115 Empire St.
